CAW
Certificate of Ability to WorkThe Cane Corso Club of the Carolinas is the first regional specialty club for our breed.
CAW – Course of Accessibility Work.
The CAW testing is three levels of temperament and protection evaluations. It is formatted to evaluate temperament characteristics important to our breed. The tests are similar to the Italian CAL and DPCA WAE/ROM testing. CAW is offered by the CCCC as temperament tests for our breed.
The CAW 1 is virtually identical to the Italian CAL1. CAL 1 is a requirement in Italy for a Cane Corso to become a conformation champion. The next two levels, CAW 2 and CAW 3 will include obedience and bite work. Upon successful completion a certificate from the Cane Corso Club of the Carolinas will be given.
